The first Bombardier 5500 has been shipped

The first Bombardier Global 5500 has been officially shipped. The small but extremely advanced corporate jet worth over $45 million has already been transferred to the customer. Though the client's wasn't officially announced, according to some sources the Global 5500 went to the Swiss operator ExecuJet Europe.

The jet is certified by the EU Safety Aviation Agency (EASA) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In spite of its small size, the business jet can cover fly non-stop between Moscow and Los Angeles.
